Buying 300Se

Hi

I'm trying to buy a W126 300 SE.

Hoping to find low mileage (less than 85000) 89 -91 model with leather, full history, not too many owners. Ideally nice dark colour. Any tips? And what is a fair price for a really good one? Is there a big difference between a dealer/private. What's the major pitfall in terms of expensive problems?

Is there a good mechanic in London W6 Hammersmith area?

I'd appreciate your advice - I've owned a couple of fintails in the past, but nothing like this.
