I fancy having the SL63 style exhausts if I could.

Would it be possible to change the rear bumper etc and get those put in?

Please take in mind when replying i've never modded a car before in my life.

Thanks, Chris

You can purchase replacement tail pipes that fit, but don't forget the AMG badging and side vents, all available on ebay

Thanks for replies.

I feel like the hole for them is smaller on the SL 500 so what exactly do I replace to make it into quad exhausts please?

If you want to do it properly you need to change the diffuser etc. but it will still be an SL500, you have a very nice car almost as quick as an SL63 without any of the extra running costs, surprised you want to mess with it frankly, leave the mods to boy racers pimping their BMW's in my opinion, for what it's worth...

If you spend a similar amount of money at GAD (they are on here), you will pretty much tune your SL500 to same performance as an SL63, much better to have a wolf in sheep's clothing than the other way round.

Personally I think the SL500 is a wolf in wolf's clothing.
Thanks for replies.

As above you will have to change the diffuser and the costs may escalate beyond what is reasonable, but I get the desire to do it;).

Another analogy would be modding a Bentley to make it look like a Rolls, but each to their own, plenty of modified Bentleys around.

I see the other day Killer Hertz made a video on how to stick tape over his SL63 to try and make it look newer, I guess nothing is exempt....

Thanks so much for all your advice.

I think with the styling its not that i'm wanting to fool people that its an SL 63... I will not be removing the SL 500 off the boot. Its just that its a 450HP monster and I think cars like that look better with quad pipes. That's all.

So if I buy these here and take them to a bodyshop the man should be able to fit them? Simple as that? https://www.cksperformance.com/coll...le-tailpipes-set-left-and-right-chrome-finish

Thanks, Chris

CKS supply and have a workshop to fit. I am not endorsing them as I have no personal knowledge and have read both good and poor comments but fitting is a pretty simple task so I doubt they can do any harm, worth giving them a call...
