Just been through a little exercise which I thought I'd share with everyone. I have purchased a steering damper and two drive belts for my wife's SLK from my main MB dealer and with a trade order they cost £6.00 less than GFS and £7.20 less than MB parts in Oxford. Now I know some of the difference in costs are delivery charges, but the basic price of the part is, in some case lower too.
So it's worth "shopping around" as the misconception that the MB dealers are too expensive is not always the case
