Would you do it......although the seller just had the green part at bottom you get......he said he was waiting for it.....


I now have the reg no so I can check up...(it's a bike I might be buying)

Unfortunately DVLA won't help you "Data Protection Act, Sir..."

You'll have to HPI it to be sure it's not stolen. HPI will give the registered owner as well so you can make sure someone's not selling their neighbour's car while they're on holiday... You can get the date of the last change of ownership online but if the V5s just gone back to DVLA it may not be up to date

Caveat Emptor, as always. Check everything and ask for a dated, addressed receipt stating that there is no HP outstanding and put the VIN, registration and mileage on the receipt
