I have a 1995 C250D

Just before winter I was having problems with the battery running flat

The battery was fairly old and tired and wouldn't hold chgarge for that long

About 2 months ago I bought a new bosch battery and I am still getting the same problem

If I leave it standing for a couple of days the battery is flat

Sometimes I have evn been running it every day and got in it the next day and it hasn't got enough juice to turn it over

Any ideas where the drain might be coming from?

It has a mercedes immobiliser and alarm

202's do not suffer from this, but any memory pack like for seats etc can go down, causing a leak in the system.

First is the car charging, and with a volt meter the level should be 13.8 volt with the engine running.
if that is OK then join the ammeter in series with the battery and the drain should be under 25m/a on a 1995 car.

It would not be the first time that a new battery has failed within weeks

it would be a coincidence if it was 2 crap batteries though wouldn't it?
