Left my car on the road on saturday night

Got in it on sunday and some pr*ck has either kicked it or hit it with their car

The case looks ok, its just that the mirror wobbles around in the casing

I have tried to push it back in but it doesn't seem to want to go

Is there a trick to this or is it broken?

Also how do i safely remove the mirror part from the casing to have a look?

I can only part help in that you can remove the whole thing by prising off the triangle cover on the inside,unplug the mirror, and remove the 3 screws the diagram is non to clear.

The casing can be remove separately. Push the mirror towards the side window. Inside, you will see a thin silver piece of spring steel in a "C" shape about 4". In the middle of the "C" you will see a spring. Using a flat blade screwdriver, prize the whole "C" shaped bit towards the side window by putting the screwdriver between the spring & the "C" bit. Any problems, let me know.

The glass clips onto a backing plate made of plastic, if you look at it you will see its possibly snapped hence why the glass vibrates when you drive, dredge through ebay you might find on in the colour you need.
