C Class estate W203 Roof bars

I am looking to buy roof bars for my 2006 C Class estate a few Questions

Are the MB any good
Who are they made by
Should i go for Thule or MB roof bars
Has anyone had any experience of fitting either make and how easy / hard are they to fit

If you want to stuff your car and your mileage put on roof bars. Dosent matter who makes them .......they all have the same effect.

I bought the Thule bars for the odd occassion I need to transport a ladder, timber, etc. They are quick and easy to fit and were relativley inexpensive. I always take them off afterwards as they do increase wind noise and affect mpg.

I would imagine Thule make the bars for MB anyway! They look remarably similar.

Never leave them on when not in use though, as moosehead says, mpg will suffer.

Here I go again! Purchased a new lockable set off Ebay and yes, they turned out to be crap! Stick to Thule and you know it's quality stuff. (No I don't work for them).
