310 x 200 x 75deep, just measured mine - 1999 W202 saloon.

It only begs the question, why would you want to know?

I'm intrigued.

Mine is a 203, and the first aid kit is missing so wondered what other MB kit would fit parcel shelf compartment. (im funny about things being original )

I just wondered - I had this notion you may have ordered one and was checking to see if it would fit through the letter box! :)

I'm sure a W203 owner will see your post and provide the info you require.

Are they not all the same size?

It would seem very silly for a manufacturer to have a different sized First Aid kit for every car instead of making the storage points all the same size.

On a W202 the fold up lid of the First Aid kit is part of the parcel shelf and the tray is separate and so detaches and can be removed, On a w203 it would likely a similar set up.

So as far as I can see, to do what you want to do you will need the whole parcel shelf as well as the tray. You could look it up yourself if you put your VIN number into the Russian site.
However if the First Aid lid is already present on your parcel shelf then all you would need is the tray.

On a similar but different subject.... On my W202 estate, the First Aid Kit is located in a cubby hole in the boot area. Nearside rear, along with the rear washer reservoir. Do the saloons have this cubby hole, and if so, is it just empty?

Hi Dave,

That's a big 'neg' on the Saloon, no cubbyholes I mean. Our FAK's are on the top of the rear shelf.

Hope you had a good Xmas, btw.

Regards to Mrs Dave.

May your dash rings be forever shiny :):):)

Do bandages go 'off' after a certain date? If so, what happens? Do they self-destruct or spontainiously combust?

I wonder what brand the Egyptians used? They seem to have lasted a long time..!!

I must check the sell-by date on the Space Blanket

Yes they do "go out of date", and if the vehicle is to be used as a Taxi the FAK must be "in date"............its the LAW !!........isnt it a ass sometimes ??

Hi Del,

On my 2002 203 (C270cdi),the kit (in the black fabric bag) is 295 long, 160 wide, and 80 deep. Its got a number A 203 860 00 50. From the 203 in the number its probably meant for a C class 203.

That is the info i was looking for Peter, thanks for that. Now i will have to see if i can get my hands on a FAK to suit my car without paying an arm and a leg for it from MB or eurocar parts.

Same place in my W204 saloon, except for the washer reservoir of course.

Hi Derek

Same as sixpack for my C220 cdi Auto Elegance W203 [2000]. Loads in tray behind the head restraint of the rear seat on passenger side. [Ah!, my car is a LHD but that should be of no importance here]

It's also numbered [ A 203 860 00 50 ]
