c class front seat removal

hi guys, advice needed, i have to remove my front seat from my 2016 w205 c class coupe to replace the bottom split cover, i have looked at all the videos but cant find actual removal. i assume the steps are to remove the floor fixing bolts, position the leg support forward, undo negative terminal from battery, unplug the cable supply and lift out seat. i ask for confirmation as when i removed the front seat from my volvo s60 i didnt disconnect the battery and had to have the airbag system re set. comments most welcome, many thanks, jr.

Sounds about right. I had the same when I removed a seat from my R Class, but as the battery is under the seat I couldn't disconnect the battery before I disconnected the seat.
Years ago when I removed a seat from my Omega, the SRS was happy enough if you didn't turn the ignition on while the seat was unplugged.
