Hi..

I have been looking for some additional foglamps for me c200k sport.
Have found some for 20 quid each in USA but they are saying that they will be handed for lefthand drive car & point to left of rd.

I thought foglamps spread the light across whole of rd to get under fog.

Any ideas who is right?

Fog lamps are not handed and do not point either way, just a low flat beam.

Been told i can just disconnect the original wiring from the foglights in the headlights & use that to wire in the spoiler ones..

Hi Algygale,
These additional fog lights, do they fit in the apertures in the lower bumper?
If they do be careful as these are the brake cooling vents (they are on mine).

yes your right about the AMG models having lights there but they do have "different brakes" to yours and mine and the bumpers are different as its a body kit on the AMGs. They may look the same but they are "totally different"
Why design them as ducts if there not needed as ducts.
Also i don,t think you,ll have any standard wiring for these fog lights if you want an o.e.m. type fit try the russia site you "should" be able to identify the additional wiring loom(s) needed. You,ll need to identify any fixings and brackets to mount them as well because they won,t be there either.

Ok...

Thanks for all your help. Mines a 2000...but i didn't think about the mountings for the lights. Thought they would just clip in.:(

Maybe i should just leave it alone.. ive noticed some people have C46 AMG estates..

Never even knew these existed..what are they all about?
