Hi all,
I have an unusual issue with my central locking and I can't find any threads online for people who have had this issue.
My car will unlock perfectly well from either the standard IR fob or by using the key in the passenger door.
However, the pump continues to run once the car is open, and within about ten seconds the car will lock itself.
Each door will open from inside when "locked". It also will not lock if it is open when the car locks down. The boot lock will lock whether the boot is open or closed at the time.
I can't see how a vacuum leak will cause the car to lock itself, when I was under the impression that the car utilised a vacuum to lock.
Can anyone advise?
