Hi,
I am trying to have my ecu fault codes read, but two mechanics with 3 different scanners have told me they are unable to read any engine fault codes, although the air bag and abs can be read.
They have suggested there is an ecu/socket problem but cannot suggest how to progress the problem.
I have had lpg fitted about 2 years ago, and assume maybe the problem could have been created then, but as i have never had the ecu read up until now that may be a red herring!! Can anyone offer any ideas!

many thanks,

Your Mercedes
2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
Everything is on the 38 pin socket under the bonnet, if it is not working then it could be the conversion causing the problem

As Malcolm, if your device can get to the 'right' k-line on the 38 pin you are likely to get the unit to respond !!
