Hiya Newbie on board.
don't know if you have a virtual bar but my cards behind the bar for a tipple.:D

Question re: C180 N reg (UK)
I've searched through the forums and there appears to be a lot of problems associated with alarms and electrics and in particular the alarm fobs.
On my old E200 I had a small "emergency" key which I could disable the alarm with by turning off the alarm box under the passenger floor well.
Now, my friend is having a problem with a C180 with same symptoms as lots of others on board - alarm works/wont work, doors will lock/unlock and sometimes doors will not lock/unlock.
She says she has a small "alarm key" but can't find the alarm unit to turn off the system - Does the C180 have such a thing??

Be really pleased if someone could help
Thanks

try looking under the bonnet for the siren there should be a place for the key on it.

yes as ian said there is a cap on the actual siren lift the cap and that will reveal the key, turn it and will disable the alarm,

Read the other thread on jacdanna you may need to reset the alarm just disconnect battery for 10 mins which will reset also key fob batteries....
