C180, and a missfire :(

Hi everyone

My 94 C180 has a missfire sometimes when driving, when revs increase it will sort itself out, but it jerks when driving and sometimes won't cope up a hill and you can hear it missing, but if the revs are up it's fine.

I unplugged the MAF but it made no difference plugged in or not??? would even start with it off.

The car idles fine too.

I would imagine that a fault will be stored in the ECU. Take it to a garage with STAR diagnostics, and get the codes read..

Had similar problem with my C230K new plug leads and all was well again.
My lead set consisted of only two leads and a pair plug caps, it was one of the caps that was U/S.
