C180 Engine Problem (52 plate)

Last week, my brake light failed and I got a warning on the dash to replace the bulb. I did not do this right away, and after a few days I started the engine and noticed the engine light stay on.

After driving for around 20 minutes the engine choked and switched off. I pulled over for 5 mins, started the engine and all was well again - I was able to get home and the engine seemed to be running a lot smoother than it was previously.

The engine light is still on so I checked with a code reader and it is reporting 3 error codes:

4001: component n15/3 ETC control module is faulty
4300: CAN communication is faulty
4600: The voltage supply of circuit 87 has undervoltage

Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Could this be a low battery voltage blip,,as its always best to start with basics do measure the voltage across the battery before you start the car.
