Hi all, I am planning to replace the rear discs and pads on my 1999 c180 estate. Do I need any special tools or is it a straightforward operation?

I intend to use MB parts.

Many thanks

Very easy job. You need to slacken off the in-board handbrake shoes first, you get to the adjuster through one of the wheelbolt holes.

Check if you have a 1 or 2 pin caliper before ordering the parts.
