Erm - you're driving this car, and you don't know?

How much was the bribe to pass your test?

Oh don't be like that - it's not nice :D

I think you will find the car is driven from the rear rescueuall. .
The tunnel through the centre of the car is the give-away. This is where the drive for the rear wheels runs underneath.
Enjoy the car but give it to someone else to do maintenance :D

I didnt ask the question on the forum to get a reply like that, I do drive the car but regretably I<m not mechanical minded, we all cant be experts, I thought these forums was designed to assist folk with questions on their car, my god how wrong was I

just incase your in the habit of trying to slag anyone off for asking a question and you have forgotten mines I asked is the c180 FWD or not

a very dissapointed junior member as I thought these boards were friendly , obviously not

woah, calm down. It was only a joke. FWIW I apologise, you obviously didn't like my dry sense of humour :)

No hard feelings eh?

Really though, I am gobsmacked that somebody can drive a car and not know which wheels are driven. I strongly suggest you take some kind of advanced tuition, perhaps a ridedrive course, or an IAM or ROSPA course?

HI

When I sat my test in 1984 the requirements then didnt ask you to know if a car was rear wheel drive or front wheel drive, maybe the new style tests do i,m unaware of new requirements for the driving test

I enjoy driving, but leave all maintenance to my local garage, I have 22 years driving experience with cars and 15 with fire engines and high reach appliances

I think that this subject should now be laid to rest as another kind member actually took time to explain it to me
