Anyone can help would be much appreciated.

I have got a 1995 Petrol, Automatic C180.

It worked great for the first few days I had it, then left it for 2 weeks on drive whilst away. The battery was flat when i returned, I charged the battery and replaced on car but now i cant get it to start. It turns over but wont fire.

The red light on the mirror blinks when the vehicle is locked and then goes out when unlocked so dont think this is the problem, although i do think it is something to do with the immobiliser

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I dont have the money to take it into a garage at the moment but need the car for work.

Thanks for any replies in advance

I would disconnect and Join up again the battery

Immediate measures for occasion remote
control key failure:
1 Actuate IR substitute remote control key
2 Disconnect connector from IRC control
module or negative pole on battery for
approx. 10 seconds and then actuate IR
remote control key
a maximum of 100 times
3 Desynchronize IR control module
4 Synchronize IR remote control key, if
necessary recode radio, etc.
