c180 locking

i have a 1998 c180 sport when i do about 10 mph the doors lock.
i have only had the car 1 week and i am sure that when i used to drive it the central locking used to open when i stopped the car and took the key from the ignition could anybody give me information on this please

this is correct - they dont unlock. i think it was to stop car-napping at traffic lights etc...

My '99 C180 does the same, and had never unlocked the doors when in Park.
