Help needed with C180 P reg petrol. The car appears to run out of fuel when 1/4 full. fuel filter & fuel pump replaced. When 1/4 full the fuel feed pipe to the pump when removed does nor spill fuel. how does the left tank transfer fuel to the right tank as it appears this could be the problem. When filled to 1/2 full or over no problem. The gauge looks like it reads ok as when filled from 1/4 full the amount of fuel the tank will take is correct at about 45 litres on a 62 litre tank. It would be ideal if there is anyone who could point me in the direction of a schematic diagram of the internal fuel tank piping. Haynes manual useless in this department
