What I mean Malcolm is that the typical running temperature is around 83c, that’s what mine sits at anyway depending on road speed of course. I suppose it is opening and closing all the time.

The problem in my case was the fan coupling, nice to drive a car again without having to anxiously watch the temperature gauge.
