c180 starting from cold

hi all,got a problem with mec180 (r reg).just serviced it and had mot done,the problem is ,when the car is cold when started in the morning seems to miss on 1 cly.also seems to backfire in the throttle body until the revs are increased . it runs rough until it gets to temp then ok until i try to leave work where it run rough again but not as bad. also seems to lack power when acc away from about 65mph. friend says it might be HT leads but im not convinced. any ideas anybody?
