Have you checked if you're getting fuel to the cylinders?

Did you put in brand new petrol or diesel...?

if you are sure the battery is ok, turn the key to the on position, put it in 2nd gear (or third) and hold the clutch in, push the car so that it's moving freely and then release the clutch, does it jump start ?

Take the plugs out, clean them, check the gaps and put them back, Then try.

In that case you have no spark to ignite the petrol.
How are you checking for the presence of a spark..?

Change your fuel filter, could have gummed up.

What do you understand by wet plugs..?

Oil or water is leaking

wet plugs usually means fuel on them - what is on the plugs water or oil are pretty easy to set apart.

Without being obtuse. I think you need your car at a good MB indy.
