c180 window problem

Hi There,
Got a problem with my 98 c180 elegance. Occasionally one or both front windows will not work. I can correct this by disconnecting the -ve battery lead for a few secs. Windows will now work for a day to a week but will fail eventually, usually passenger first. Have fitted new battery. Please help!

Sounds like the control box may be getting damp 4fold?
I seem to recall it's in the boot?
Best have a look and see if you can dry it out before it gets any worse and hopefully avoid having to replace the whole thing.
