Like other members I winced at the MB dealer cost to replace plugs and filters during service. Having done all my own servicing in the (distant) past, I thought 'no-problem'. Doing the jobs does look easy enough, but my problem is finding parts- MB dealer prices are 2x Halfords.
The car is an 'old' shape C class estate with engine from new shape (from the time when saloon model had changed to new but estate was still unchanged.)
I am after standard service parts- plugs, air filter and fuel filter.
Anyone know Bosch/Hengst original part numbers for this model please, or any other advice?- Eurocarparts site etc doesn't list this engine at all.
Thanks in anticipation,
Brian
