C200 front lower susp;arms.

I have just replaced the front off-side lower susp; arm on my 1998 C200 and then found the tyre/wheel so far back it almost touches the wheel arch lining ! Can someone tell me how to adjust the position of the arm,? I cannot see how the special bolt works to push the arm in or out ! it appears to have just a couple of flats under the head which allows it to fit into a slot one way round or the other, I have run out of ideas. HELP !!

Not sure about the arm did you match it up with the old one once removed?
Thats how the bolts are either one way or the other.

It does sound like you've been supplied an incorrect part !!

They are camber castor adjustment bolts that you have. Buy some standatd bolts and then get it a wheel alignment done

Bent arm.

I bought another arm, new, and found the arm causing trouble was indeed bent ,on fitting the new arm all is now well.The moral is, if buying from a dismantler,check very carefully no matter what they guarantee !!.Thanks for all comments.
