C200 K Sport Diagnostic Read Out (ABS Problems)

Hello, posted earlier today about my abs problems.

Garage Diagnosed the car today:

ESP20/BAS
Faults Stored:

Control Unit Faulty
Steering Angle Sensor
Release Switch
Front Wheel Speed Sensor (Not cleared)


The above is exactley as what is stated on my bill!


Any thoughts????

Yes,clean the sensor and the other faults may go away.

They say the sensor is shot so will replace it for £40 plus Vat. I thought that sounded ok!!

Are the other faults anything to worry about?

If there is too much dirt over the face of the sensor (hall effect magnetic switch) then it will not read and come up as faulty on the diag tester.

forget the other bits.
