C200 Oil Filer Cap Leaking

I've just purchased a 99(T)C200 Sport Auto, 50,000 miles with full Merc History & 1 owner,

After the engine has been run the area around the oil filler cap is clean but if I come back to the car and check about 30 mins later oil is running/seaping out of the filler cap.
It's like the built up pressure in the engine is forcing it out.

Has anyone else experienced this ?
Is it just a case of a new seal/filler cap?
Any Idea how much a new filler cap is?

Any ideas/advice on this would be greatly appreciated !!

I've just bought a new filler cap from the main dealer for £3, the old one, the rubber seal had like a ring/groove in it, so hopefully it will be OK now

Yep all fine now, no leaks :biggrin:  , This bein my first Mercedes I couldn't believe how cheap the cap actually was. I also bought some mud flaps because they was such a bargain £15 front & £15 rear.

Not wanting to sound too negative here, but the shock will come when you need work involving a fair bit of labour.....Ouch!!
