C200 Wiper Position?

Hi I have a C200 2000 Vreg. The front windscreen wiper sometimes stops in the middle of the windscreen instead of returning to where it should? any ideas, does it just need adjusting?

Has it been lubricated? Under the "turtle shell".

Normally its the nut on top of the drive that needs doing up
