HI - I'm hoping that someone out there can help me?
When I googled the following "my merc pulls to the left - why?" I realised that I was not alone.
I am having similar problems to that Mike & others were having in 2002: (please see extract from this forum from 10/2002 copied in below)
In a nutshell, my '54 plate C200Komp stubbornly refuses to drive in a straight line!! It pulls left - CONSTANTLY!!!
In fact, on my daily commute up the M6 it will actually change lane from fast to middle in defiance of the 'fall', the 'camber' and physics!
I've had the car tracked, balanced, 'opti-flexed' and tracked again; both at my local MB dealer in Bham and at various 'indy' outlets in the area ... .
I've had the wheels swopped over and the suspension checked - I'm now seriously considering giving Mr McKenna a buzz!!
I have also been told that if the steering wheel is not set up to be EXACTLY plumb central and in line with the wheels, the car will drift - is the solution really as simle as this?
If anyone has any thoughts or tips that might help solve this issue, or 'gems' that I might gently reveal to the MB boys when the car goes in (AGAIN!) on tuesday 07/04, they would be gratefully received!!
cheers
SuttonBoy
ps - In Mike's email (below) he states his intention to take MB to court - does anyone know if he did and, if he did, did he win ???

Hi All
My C240 (2001 - 25k) pulls left. I have been told the same from Merc about road camber. It's rubbish. My car pulls left even on an opposite camber. I have had the RAC take a look and they have stated that the car has a problem.
I am just about to take Mercedes to court. Please contact me if you have the same problem. We need to get a list of people with the same problem and hit the car mags, press and Merc. Something must be done about this problem as it's very fatiguing and quite wrong.
In my view Mercedes are treating us all like idiots and should take this issue seriously.
PS. Under the supply of goods act you can request a full refund as the purchase does not meet the expected quality.
