C207 BOOT WON'T OPEN ELECTRONICALLY ?

Hi Everyone

Boot was working yesterday by pressing the button on the key for the boot and by pulling the button in the drivers door.

Today it won't work electronically only by using the long metal key within the car key so doing it manually.

I've looked online and it says fuse slot 61 has a fuse for the boot electronics or somthing to that effect but there is no fuse in slot 61. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong user manual ?

Any ideas please. Thank you

40 amp in the boot , fuse 61 .

So how was it working without a fuse in the slot previously because it wasn't there before so if I put one in it should work again ?

Have a look in your fusebox , there's usually a paper diagram of the fuses. I'll check my c207 user manual and report back.

I'll have another look tonight... Its the fuse box in the boot with slot 61 - Didn't see one when I looked earlier

Fuses 39, 41 and 62 also seem to cover Rear Control Unit depending on exact model?
