My drivers rear window will not fully close to create a seal with the drivers front window and it's causing a lot of wind noise to enter the car.

Looking at the passenger side, if I open the door or I lower the passenger front window, the rear window also reacts by retracting very slightly by a few mm. Then when the passenger door is closed or the front window is closed, the passenger rear window moves up to meet the front window to create an airtight seal. This ability to retract or to create an airtight seal is missing from the rear drivers window. I have tried the synchronisation method but this hasn't worked. Holding up on either of the 2 drivers rear window buttons doesn't do anything either.

Any ideas?

If I'm correct you need to hold down on the window switch for 10 seconds then up again for 10 second. Iv had this before and worked for me.
