Hi,
Thought I'd just report back on this problem which I posted a few weeks ago. The problem was that if I filled the tank with diesel the gauge went to full and then dropped to empty over about 10 mins. When I had used up some of the tank (10 - 20%) the gauge suddenly started working again. As long as I never completely filled the tank there was no problem. I was going to take it to an independent to get it fixed. However, further research has proved that the problem only occurs if I brim the tank up to the filler end. If I only "fill" the tank then there is no problem. I think I can live with this and still have not got a clue what is causing this very peculiar problem.
Regards, Kevin
