c220 cdi w202 (2000 V) oil filter location

Hi

My motor is getting on now and having recently replaced the wiper and blower motors successfully (saving ££££) thanks to great information on this and another forum I am determined to do the service. Trouble is the Haynes for the w202 does not cover the C220

This is a really basic question but an oil change is first on the list and i am unsure of the oil filter location .

There is a black plastic round cover (just above fist size) at the front of the engine with 25 Nm or something similar on and I am guessing this is it??

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks thats great. any ideas on the best way to remove this. Helfords sell a metal banded type which a friend in the trade recommended but the space looks limited. Anyone used one of these for this job?
