c220 cdi w202 flat battery

my 2000 w202 c220cdi has been stood for a long time and the battery is dead flat.

can i just re-charge or jump with leads or is it more complicated than that ?

will anything important need resetting ?

Hi Phil, you must disconnect if the battery is dead flat and charge, if you try and charge it in situ the voltage will rise too high
