c220 cdi W202

Does anyone know if a c220 cdi with cruise control can be changed to one with a speed limiter. The clock seems to have the speed setting display in place. All that seems to be needed is a stalk that can be pushed in rather than the one that at present is fixed. Any help would be appreciated

I don't think I've ever seen a 202 with speed limiter , therefore i think it very unlikly that it can be retro fitted, but I could be wrong

Can't helpyou on that but perhaps you can tellme what the average mpg is for a CDI22o please MB state about 45 average is this about right. thanks

It depends greatly on how you drive.

My W reg (2000) C220 CDi averages 45+ when driven 'legally' & sensibly; however when driven 'aggressively' (normal mode) I get 36 - 38: this reflects other cars I've had - I live in a rural area and most of my runs are 'short & sharp' though one motorway run under the extremely watchful eye of Mrs Womba actually averaged 50.
