Hello and welcome,

I've merged your threads and moved them to the technical section. There's no need to post the same question across multiple forum areas, it just leads to confusion for members with replies.

The engine has probably gotten an air leak so its air mass is incorrect, so it pulls its signal. I think you are probably chasing the fault code rather than the values from the engine.

Thanks for your reply steve,I've checked engine pipes for air leak but cant find anything, really frustrating me,cost me over £1000 and still the same, engine light is on throwing that fault.if I start the car and drive away it drags through gears at high revs,if I start the car and let it run for 5 seconds then switch off and instantly restart it drives great even though engine light is still on?

Without the car its difficult to say what it might be. Find a MB specialist with Xentry would be the best advice I can give. But as a clue, I've never replaced air mass meters on the 651 engine for any fault!

Yes going through the same problem for the last few months. My mechanic has now said it’s the swirl valve in the manifold. We have changed the mass air flow sensor the EGR valve, the ECU so hopefully it’s the swirl valve.

Does yours do the same as mine?if you start the car and drive it it drags through the gears like 2500 before gear change? But if you start the car leave it to idle for 5 seconds, switch of then straight back on drives great

The C class 204's started with the 646 cdi engine, and 'graduated' to the 651 engine.
Your's being 2013 will have the 651 engine.

C class
Hi,
I’m in a similar situation. I’ve had my air flow sensor changed but EML still on but this time with DPF issue. Mechanic thinks it’s clogged up. Any suggestions, greatly appreciated.
Thanks
K
