:?
Can anyone confirm if the C220D standard but with Cruise Con., had a cooling Aircon system? The dash has a EC button, but I can't seem to notice any chill effect now the weather has warmed up. Where would I find the unit if it has one?
Sounds silly but I did not this a car of this age would be supplied without aircon. Here's hoping someone can help.

The EC button is the EConomy button, press the button so the light is ON means you are in EConomy mode, i.e the A/C is off. Press the button so the light is OFF is standard mode with A/C on.

If you have the EC button then you have A/C, if it is not getting cold then there is a problem with the system. It should get really icy cold within a couple of minutes. It is acceptable to recharge with slightly more gas for more efficiency. If you dont have any gas then there is a leak (obvious) you cannot simply re-gas the system as the gas will leak again and this is an offence and you can into alot of trouble for it.
