C230k 98 window failure

Can some one help me with an electric window problem. Had the car for about 2 months, I knew the nearside rear didn't work but now the drivers window has packed up. It has had a intermitent fault but seems to have stopped working completely, luckily in the closed position. Have checked fuses. No click when I press the switch. Rear window not illuminated at night. Do they have a relay, if so where is it?

fuses F7 and F8 in the boot are for front and rear windows but you have the other side working so that rules that out, i think you could have dodgy switches try useing one of the others on the drivers door and if that dosnt work check the wires in the door jam thats where they come from the car into the door its quite commn on all cars for them to break with age and use

Thanks tecky for your reply, well another strange thing happened today, the central locking went fut, couldn't get into the car. I remembered seeing somthing about disconecting the battery for a few seconds, guess what, that fixed the central locking and the drivers window. So I just have to sort the near side rear window now, will try the switch swop idea, I can use the offside rear switch.
