just got my car today and i love it and would like to know any other forum members' views ? also, how do i activate sat nav - do i have to contact a dealer for the cd or can i buy this off ebay for example ?? thanks in advance !

Congrats on the new motor.
I have the same engine in the E class - very smooth and not as uneconomical as many think (I have seen 37mpg on the computer). I am on my 3rd set of plug leads as they tend to last about 3 years or so in my opinion before you start getting a lumpy idle (it should idle as if it isn't running) but aside from that I've had no problems and she's still as smooth and silent as the day I bought her (crying shame really as I've just traded her in). Perhaps a bit gutless below 3000rpm or so but very lively above and makes a wonderful noise! Enjoy.
Daft question perhaps, but does it have sat nav? (most don't). If it did, I would expect it to have come with a CD.
The cheapest place for a replacement is you are certain that's all you're missing is ebay. If you post details of the stereo unit someone can advise what you need.
