Hello, I have two patches of rust on this car, one is on the prone lower corner of the n/s rear door (5mm square patch where door has been knocked) and also there is a tube welded into the underside of the bonnet from left to right just forward of the hinges. Weld rusting on one side (may even be a bad bit of repair welding)
Question is, what is the best rust treatment for MB's apart from moving to somewhere where they don't salt the roads constantly and have cracks been noticed and repaired on other W202's bonnet welds?
I will probably get a bodyshop to sort the door before it propagates but, I would like to treat the other known areas on this 1999 vehicle before anything sets in.
