Hi all

Just changed the main fuel filter on my 98 C250, but have a quick question. The banjo securing bolt has a hole through the centre of the bolt which I pressume is upoosed to line up with the hole located on the fuel filter mounting body.

The crappy Haynes manual (i think they have really gone down hill) does n't mention anything about this, so is this how it is supposed to fit or does n't it matter?

regards

cheers, I had suspected that was the answer, but the fuel took an age to bleed out the air and you just never know sometimes

Did you fit the new filter empty? If so, it takes quite a while to fill up, and is quite normal.
