I'm a new member desperately seeking help with my C250 TD (late1999/2000).
For a month or two, I have had various (nearly all) warning lights come on at the same time. Sometimes they flicker then go off sometimes various ones stay on.
The preheat lamp and BAS have been among the ones I've noticed that have stopped on though I'm sure others have stopped on too.
All go off when the ignition switch is switched off and then restarted.
Recently, the symptoms have become worse and together with the warning lights, the engine has felt as though it was stopping but then restarting erratically. The transmission struggles and changes gear with a jerk. I think the speedometer reading drops to zero when this happens. Sometimes, power is lost and the car struggles to move (limp mode?)
Generally, Switching off and restarting temporarily restores to normal but the problem is getting worse and the car has become unreliable.
Suggestions please.
