My 1994 C250 D needs the brake pipe changed that runs the length of the car to the back axle. There's a T junction on the axle but does anyone know if the pipe has a junction in the pipe when it runs over the top of the fuel tank.
I ask as I don't want to take the fuel tank off if I can help it (as I'd need to drain it and it looks complicated). I'd only take it off if it hid a brake pipe junction otherwise I'd push the new pipe through the gap (which means the pipe is some length as it runs from the back axle, over the fuel tank, along the length of the car then starts to rise into the engine compartment.
The Haynes manual doesn't show this detail.
