I understand that there are some modified pipes on this, have you tried a search on the forum. Jim in Essex did a lot of work on this matter

Im working on this problem at the moment, the parts you need are
A 611 016 06 30 Pipe
A 611 016 06 21 Gasket
A 611 016 03 34 Oil Separator
A 612 016 11 81 Molded Hose

The smaee connector on the thinner rubber hose should be full with oil, the air mass meter will also need cleaning, the molded hose seems to be the problem, MB sold 275 or so in 2007.

easy to do, the main rubber inlet to the turbo there is a screw clap the screw part needs to be at 9 oclock as to look at it, if its at 6 oclock oil can weep from there. Removing the pipe work is easy as its all push together.

If your really stuck and local to Cambs you can drop it in.

MB say oil in that area is normal!!! even when its contaminating the air sensor...

Hi Jib thanks for that,my oil leak is oil coming out of the breather running down the pipe into the air intake of the turbo. Is this normal? is that a separator on top of the rocker-box? my air mass sensor is clean and dry.a lot of oil was simply just running out the breather to pipe connection (two cable ties later) has improved the push fit!. This is the first diesel i have had. My concern was that oil was being pushed out the breather, was this crankcase over pressurizing? or the separator not separating. Thanks Martin

Thats why you need all the parts Ive listed, should fix the problem. sooner or later the air meter will get oil on it and the car will run rough thereafter.

I have something to add on this, the oil seems to come through the electrical pins in the connector in the PCV hose heater which is in the hose just before it attaches to the turbo intake hose. Part number A611 016 06 30 and is not so easy to get after market.
