C270 service in Preston lancashire recommended

My C270 diesel 2002 year is 700 miles off requiring a B service are their any GOOD indi's around or is it to the dealer we have to go (hope not been made redundant).
The car as full Merc history as just done 81k had it 6 months never missed a beat but the wife don't like it much so I will be selling her on soon as I find a Range Rover LPG or a nice 330d or 530D BMW
All recommendations fully appreciated.

Unless you are dedicated to keeping Mobilo Life, I believe using an Indy is the better choice for you. Work done to manufacturer's specification, using MB approved materials/parts but much lower labour rates. Unlikely that there will be updates on a car of that age which has been in the dealer network until now.

I have never experienced a buyer dissect their way through any service history on a car I have sold, indeed, dealers don't even look at it.

If your wife does not like the MB much, I wonder why? If it is seat comfort or suspension please be sure to take her for a good long run in the car you plan replacing it with. SWMBO in this house got travel sick within miles in both the 3 and 5 series B*Ws, but is fine in MB. :Oops:
