C280, 1994: Fuel Pump operation

Just curious about this. When the car is off with the ignition switch on (if
you are listening to the radio), does the fuel pump stay on till you turn
off the ignition or it turns off after few minutes?

The fuel pump is key2 where as the radio is key1

I think in key 2 the pump runs for a few secs to prime the system, then switches off till you crank the engine.
