C280 Automatic transmission issues!

I was wondering if anybody has any experience of the Standard/Economy switch on the automatic transmission of a C280? I don't think mine is working as the gear changes seem the same no matter what setting I have it on.

There are lots of postings on this subject. Someone with technical knowlegde on this will probably reply soon. What year and milage is your car ?

Meantime, try doing a search with keywords "transmission" , "ATF" etc.

Yes the switch fall apart inside, replacement is the only safe way to make it switchable
