Can anyone please help me with any info on how to remove the rear door panel on my 1994 C280 Elegance. I am stumped on how to remove the arm rest, and it looks like the door card is in about three pieces! Help me please...........

Hi & Welcome,

With the aid of your vin your should be able to click to your car on this site; http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1
Then click around until you find the exploded diagrams on the trim. You should then be better able to see where the fixing are.

Remove screw at rear of door securing door lock trim panel and slide the panel downwards to remove it.
Prise out the door lock handle recess panel with a suitable screwdriver. Remove the panel over the door lock handle.
Remove the cross-head screw behind the door lock handle recess panel (just removed).
Remove the crosshead screw from below the door armrest.
Prise off the door trim panel using a wide-bladed or wedge tool. Use care otherwise the clips will be broken.
Lift the trim panel slightly, and free it from the window channel at the top.
Further lift the panel, to clear the lock operating knob at the top.
Carefully withdraw the panel from the door, open the retaining clip which secures the end of the lock operating rod, and detach the rod from the handle.
Disconnect the wiring plug from the window switch.
That should be it, but just check nothing else attached, then remove it from the car.
