After a few years of faultless behaviour my C320 has the following problem. As soon as i start the car (air con and fan turned off) a 'clicking sound' occurs every 10 seconds (sounds like air recirculation flaps opening and closing). This is combined with a hissing / gassing noise behind the dash. As soon as i activate the aircon or turn the interior fan speed the clicking stops?
Any idea's - could it be a solenoid or relay?
